Clarity
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
This policy explains what Clarity collects, how the app uses it, and which providers help operate the service.
Information Clarity Collects
Clarity collects account information such as your email address and authentication-related account data.
Clarity also stores the workspace content you choose to create or submit, including pasted or uploaded source content, generated pages, categories, deadlines, calendar-related information, boards, notes, and usage metadata.
How Clarity Uses Information
Clarity uses your information to provide account access, save your workspace content, generate AI summaries and pages, extract deadlines and categories, suggest board organization, enforce usage limits, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.
AI features may process user-submitted content so Clarity can extract, summarize, classify, organize, or suggest. You should avoid submitting content you do not want processed by the app and its providers.
Service Providers
Clarity relies on service providers to operate the app. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, and storage where applicable; OpenAI or other AI providers for processing user-submitted content; Vercel for hosting and deployment; and Stripe later for billing if paid billing is connected.
These providers process information for the purpose of delivering Clarity's product functionality. Clarity does not sell user content.
User Content
Your user-created content remains your responsibility. Clarity stores and processes it so the app can provide saved pages, boards, deadlines, calendar items, categories, and AI-assisted organization.
Do not upload or paste content unless you have the right to use it and are comfortable using it with Clarity's service providers.
Data Questions and Account Requests
You can contact support for account or data questions, including requests related to your Clarity account or workspace data.
Contact support@clarityworkspace.app and include the email address associated with your account so we can review the request.
Security and Compliance
Clarity takes product security seriously, but it does not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR certification, or enterprise compliance unless those commitments are separately provided in writing.
Do not use Clarity as a regulated data system unless you have confirmed that your intended use is appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
Clarity may update this policy as the product, providers, billing, or legal requirements change. The updated date on this page shows when the policy was last revised.
